The list of records the NARA has on microfilm is mind-boggling! As of October 1, 1994 the holdings of the National Archives included more than 300,000 rolls of microfilm. Well over a hundred million pages of documents!

As the main repository for the records generated by the Federal government. The National Archives has amassed a HUGE collection of historically important records. Records that few Americans even know exist! The scope of information available on these microfilms is incredible!
